Jay Thatcher cooperates with Corvallis Right of Way, Corvallis Parks and Recreation and other local agencies to teach skills for safe, effective and smart cycling on roads and streets. Jay is a League Cycling Instructor, trained by the League of American Bicyclists.
Jay offers lessons to groups or individuals. His specialties include teaching beginning riders, children, English language learners and cyclists with disabilities.

Home is in Corvallis, Oregon, with his wife, adult son and a great border collie. The Corvallis-based son teaches Physics at Linn-Benton Community College. The other lives near Joseph, Oregon.
